Info:

“In the course of structural change in Lusatia, a wide range of activities have already been undertaken and initial significant contributions made to strengthening the region’s innovation and competitiveness. These include the opening of Europe’s most modern ICE maintenance facility in Cottbus, the founding of the Medical University of Lusatia, and the promotion of major scientific projects.” […]

In this regard, the iCampμs Cottbus Conference aims to stimulate idea generation and networking while highlighting the potential of powerful sensor technology, innovative microelectronics, and AI—whether for Industry 4.0, a modern energy industry, or (tele)medicine. The great interest in the biennial conference series, which was held for the first time in 2024, underscores its unique significance for the Lusatian region and beyond: with 230 participants from business, research, and administration, 63 contributions, 48 full papers, and an accompanying exhibition with 17 booths, we can look back on a successful start with supraregional appeal. We want to build on this success in 2026, because structural change can only succeed through the efforts of all of us. Let’s tackle this challenge together!”
