Young talent development project: LabQuest – understanding microelectronics through play

Two further micro pilot projects will be launched at the beginning of 2026 as part of the BMFTR-funded project “ForLab NataliE” (Research Laboratories Germany – Young Talents for Integrated Electronics).

The “LabQuest” project is developing an online application designed to give young people an understanding of everyday research in the field of microelectronics and inspire them to take an interest in it. The aim is to use gamification to promote understanding of scientific and experimental work in clean rooms and laboratories. Users will have the opportunity to solve research questions and encounter the challenges and conditions of microelectronics research and production.
