On February 11 and 12, 2025, representatives of microelectronics research at German universities and industry came together at TU Ilmenau to discuss trends, opportunities and challenges in the promotion of young talent.
The active networking of German universities with other network initiatives in microelectronics was the focus next the promotion of young talent, social aspects and technical topics.
We – the ForLab network – used the symposium to emphasize the importance of networking universities with a focus on microelectronics research and the training of highly qualified specialists for the semiconductor industry.
Stakeholders from research and industry came together to identify needs and ideas for future developments and to explore potential synergies.
