From the media: “Wirtschaftsspiegel Thüringen” reports on the development of the ForLab Competence Atlas

In the latest issue of “Wirtschaftsspiegel Thüringen,” the Technical University of Ilmenau is featured as a key player in the nationwide research project “ForLab-NataliE.” This project brings together 25 universities and, for the first time, systematically highlights the highly specialized microelectronics research conducted there, while fostering close, regular professional collaboration among the teams. A highlight resulting from the second funding period is the ForLab Competence Atlas: an interactive, freely accessible research platform that facilitates easier access for external research partners, such as those from other universities or companies—particularly SMEs. The Center for Micro- and Nanotechnologies at TU Ilmenau, which led the development of this platform, positions itself not only as a research institution but also as a driver of innovation and a hub for knowledge transfer between academia and industry.
