From the news: EU Commission clears the way for BSZ Elektrotechnik Dresden

The EU Commission has announced funding of around €100 million for the STEP (Strategic Technologies for Europe) project to build a new vocational training center (BSZ) for electrical engineering in Dresden. The total cost of the school construction project amounts to around €136.2 million. The EU is now providing €100 million of this from funding under the ERDF/JTF program. Saxony’s Minister for Economic Affairs, Dirk Panter, commented: “The new BSZ will be a real beacon, which we hope will attract trainees from all over Germany and our neighboring countries to Saxony.”
