nanoFabUK - Connecting Europe’s Micro- and Nanotechnology Networks

It was a great pleasure joining this year’s symposium of nanoFabUK in London.
ForLab Verbund was given the opportunity to present the German University Network for Semiconductor Research. Sandra Bley and Martin Knaut of TU Dresden represented ForLab at the symposium from 19-20 August 2026 in London and used the fantastically organized event to network with other European networks and industry reps.

The real potential of the many national networks emerges when we connect these communities across borders and disciplines.
Stronger networking can help us to:
• connect expertise, infrastructures and capabilities
• initiate joint research and innovation projects
• strengthen collaboration between academia, industry and policymakers
• increase the visibility and global competitiveness of Europe’s semiconductor research

Let’s build stronger bridges across Europe’s semiconductor research community and turn existing expertise into new partnerships, projects and impact.
